Setting up a Winning Team in a New Industry

What was started by new media entrepreneur Steve Leach (Leach) and his wife Heather Luscombe (Heather) in 1997 in a basement in Edinburgh with just three employees had grown to become a €140 million2 annual turnover company in 2008 spread across three continents.3

As of early 2009, Bigmouthmedia Limited (Bigmouthmedia), headquartered at Edinburgh and Munich, was the leader in the digital marketing industry and Leach was the group CEO of the company.

Leach encountered some failures in his initial ventures.
